Data Line conducts land acquisition and resettlement in accordance with IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles and World Bank guidelines. IFC Performance Standard Five "Land Acquisition and Involuntary Resettlement" is used as a guideline during land acquisition and resettlement. Restores the livelihoods of project-affected people;

Provides compensation for loss of assets and replacement costs in order to avoid or minimize negative social and economic impacts of land acquisition or land restriction. Assuring that resettlement activities are implemented in a manner in which information is disclosed, consultations are conducted, and informed participation is encouraged.

Improve or restore the livelihoods and standard of living of displaced persons; and

Improve the living conditions of physically displaced persons through the provision of adequate housing with security of tenure at resettlement sites.
